Grief can be pretty confusing. On some days it could feel like you’re the only person in the world that can be feeling the way you are.

On others, life feels kind of normal.

One person who knows about these emotions is Julia Samuel, a psychotherapist and counsellor who has written a best selling book just about that - grief. She has spent much of her life helping people when someone close to them has died, so we thought it’d be a great idea to sit down with her and chat. You might find this conversation interesting:

“Pain is the agent of change. By allowing yourself to face the reality of the loss, feel connected and remember the person thats died - you adjust and over time you heal”
