Writing down and sharing your own story can not only help others, but it might also help you. If you’re under 18 we will need the permission of a parent or carer first.
We will only publish your story with your permission. Some stories we’re told may not be appropriate for publishing. We’ll always let you know if this is the case, and why that is.
How does telling your story make you feel? For some, it can make them feel emotions they weren’t expecting, or that they have not felt for some time.
It’s important that you recognise these emotions and feelings. Talking to friends and family helps some people. For others, reaching out to organisations such as those below, helps.
