Meet our Team

Our Staff

  • Dan Eaton (Growth Director)

Dan ensures that Sibling Support operates smoothly. He leads our approach to supporting more bereaved siblings by drawing on his operational management, business development and income generation experience. He’s developing our services and future proofing our charity, by growing our income through a range of streams. He ensures we are meeting the needs of Siblings by understanding what they want from our support and drawing on his own experience after his brother died in 2020.

  • Gracie Nuttall (Sibling Coordinator)

Gracie coordinates the day to day running of Sibling Support. Often the person you'll have initial contact with, Gracie ensures we are running smoothly on a day to day basis. After her sister died in 2023, Gracie and her family have set up the Be More Laura Foundation, which has already made grants and donations of £85,000 to research projects specific to Glioblastoma.

  • Sarah Moyes (Development and Communications)

Sarah spends her time making sure Sibling Support grows and people know we’re there to help if they need us. After her sister died in 2023, Sarah wanted to help people in a similar situation and start working for Sibling Support. She moved from her role as a Senior Campaigns Manager for a large international animal welfare charity to work for us in September 2023.

Our Trustees

  • Callum Fairhurst (Founder)

Callum set up Sibling Support after his brother died from cancer in 2009. He realised there was a lack of ‘informal’ support available for young people that was sibling specific. What started as an idea soon grew into the charity today.

  • Nick Robinson (Chair)

Nick is our Chair of Trustees and has helped steer the charity from a small project to a national organisation. He was the headmaster of King’s College School Cambridge for two decades before retiring. Nick has also set up a successful music charity with the Duchess of Kent, called Future Talent, and volunteers for a charity called the Listening Place.

  • Thomas North (Trustee)

In his day job Thomas is the Director of Memberships for the National Trust. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and supporting his local community. Thomas is the charity’s most recent trustee and is looking forward to help with its strategic growth to support even more siblings.

  • Jan Rand (Trustee)

Jan really knows about supporting people with their grief. Before retiring she was the Lead Counsellor Practitioner for children’s services at one of the largest NHS trusts. Jan’s managed and trained a team of counsellors to support children and their families. She also spent a decade as a senior lecturer in paediatrics. Before joining Sibling Support as a trustee Jan was the Chair of a regional bereavement charity.

  • Jonathan James (Trustee)

Jonathan was one of the charity’s first trustees. He brings to the board a business background, operating dozens of stores across the UK. As well as his volunteering and busy work, Jonathan is also the independent chair of the Association of Convenience Stores, which is the voice of 35,000 shops, and an avid Ipswich Town FC fan.

  • Sascha Williams (Trustee)

Sascha knows all too well why Sibling Support is important. After her brother took his own life when he was 19, Sascha wants to make sure others get the support she didn’t always have. You might see Sascha on the TV as her day job is as a news presenter.

  • Simone Pinto (Trustee)

Simone is an expert in all things digital. As well as her busy work leading big corporations digital product transformations, she has been the driving force behind the charity’s push to better serve those we support online. Her passion pushes our drive to make our online experience even better.

  • Molly Schiller (Trustee)

You may be familiar with Molly’s story if you’ve read our website. After her brother died in 2015 from a heart condition Molly has gone on to research the condition he died from and set up a charity in his honour. She has also held a position as a Young Trustee at the Roundhouse.

  • James Oliver (Treasurer)

James is our newest trustee and is our new treasurer. He is committed to supporting our growth plans and brings with him a wealth of experience as a Chartered Accountant in a range of settings.
