Fundraisers take on the Brighton Marathon for Sibling Support

This weekend, three supporters - Jade, Victoria & Bron - are taking part in the Brighton Marathon Weekend to raise vital funds for Sibling Support. Our amazing runners tell us why they’ve decided to take on this challenge to help bereaved children and young people across the UK.

Jade Hodges

‘I’m so happy to be running for such an amazing charity and a good cause. My aim was to raise £500 which I have already hit my target and I’m currently up to £570. I’m so proud that this will be going towards helping others.”

Victoria Hyland

“After launching Sibling Support's new website and brand with the team at Emperor, I was moved by the very real difference it had made to those receiving the support, advice, and resources. When the opportunity arose to be able to raise funds so that Sibling Support can continue to make this difference on an even bigger scale, it was a no brainer.”

Bronwen Brown

"I chose to run for this ace charity because of the vital, thoughtful work they do. Being the eldest of four siblings, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to lose one. Sibling Support's resources and community are fantastic and I wanted to do something to raise funds but also spread awareness of everything they do. I'm hoping to reach £1000 by the big marathon day - it's been a great 16 weeks of training and now I'm just so excited to run in a Sibling Support vest and donate as much as possible!"
